Britax Infant Carrier Recall
If you have your baby in a Britax B-Safe car seat, please check the Britax website to see if your car seat is part of a recent recall. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall after receiving 74 reports of “handles developing fractures, cracks and/or breaking while in use, including one report of an infant who received a bump on the head when the carrier fell to the ground.”
No matter what type of seat your child is in, please register your product information with the car seat manufacturer to make sure that you receive safety and recall notices that apply to your seat. It’s an easy way to help ensure that your child is as safe as possible. You can register your car seat at the manufacturer’s website or by returning the product registration card that is found in the box with a new car seat.
